An integral member of the Spa, the Esthetician position performs all facial and body treatments according to established protocols.  This position ensures the ultimate spa experience for all guests.

We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have current qualifications and/or licenses where applicable. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required. All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Preferred qualifications & skills

• Proven and demonstrated previous experience as an Esthetician in a high volume spa operation, preferably within hospitality/hotel environment.

• Exceptional communication skills and command of English language

• Additional language a definite asset for career growth

• Post secondary education in Aesthetics, preferably in facials, waxing, and body treatments

Education & Experience: 

• Licensed by the Cosmotology Association of Nova Scotia (if licensed out of province willing to get NS licensed)

Tools & Equipment:

• All necessary implements are to be used as taught in accordance with the standards set by the CANS.

Physical Requirements:

• Long hours sometimes required
• Prevent injury/undue fatigue by using proper body mechanics
