Guest Service Ambassador

We are looking for energetic, personable, and service-driven individuals to join our evolving Guest Services team as Guest Service Ambassadors — a modern hospitality role that represents the evolution of traditional Front Office roles by combining the core functions of Front Desk, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Reservations with the Order of the Good Time induction and Samuel de Champlain welcome experience into one unified role.

About the Role

The Guest Service Ambassador is the face of the resort and plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure.

This is not a traditional Front Desk position. Our Ambassadors move fluidly throughout the guest journey — welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, handling reservations, sharing local recommendations, supporting arrivals and departures, and delivering personalized service experiences throughout the property.

You will be a visible presence in the lobby and across the resort, helping create seamless, elevated, and memorable stays for every guest.


What You’ll Do


Guest Arrival & Experience

  • Deliver warm, engaging, and personalized guest welcomes
  • Complete efficient check-ins and check-outs
  • Escort guests to rooms or cottages and introduce resort amenities
  • Assist with luggage handling and guest transportation coordination
  • Create memorable first and last impressions

Front Desk & Reservations

  • Manage reservations, modifications, and guest requests
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest profiles
  • Support room assignments and operational coordination
  • Upsell room categories, packages, and resort experiences

Concierge & Lobby Presence

  • Recommend dining, local attractions, and resort experiences
  • Maintain an active, welcoming presence in the lobby
  • Anticipate guest needs before they arise
  • Support guests during busy arrival and departure periods

Service Recovery & Guest Care

  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and confidently
  • Deliver thoughtful service recovery experiences
  • Personalize interactions for VIPs, celebrations, and returning guests

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Spa, Golf, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams
  • Participate in daily operational briefings and shift handovers
  • Adapt to changing operational needs throughout the resort


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Naturally warm, confident, and engaging
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Passionate about guest service and creating memorable experiences
  • Professional, adaptable, and solutions-focused
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Sales or upselling experience considered an asset
  • Experience with hotel systems or reservation software preferred
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Driver’s Licence required
  • Theatre, performing arts, or public-facing presentation experience is considered a strong asset
