What You'll Do:
- As a Host/Hostess, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable dining experiences while fulfilling the essential duties of this dynamic position, including:
- Welcome Guests: Receive and record reservations, assign tables, and greet guests with a warm smile as you escort them to their seating.
- Take room service and to-go orders.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Speak with patrons to ensure they’re delighted with their food and service, and handle any complaints with professionalism and care.
- Support Operations: Support front-of-house team with duties necessary, such as assisting with menus, refilling water glasses, reset tables, inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness and functionality.
- Accept Payments: Process payments as needed for food and beverages with accuracy and efficiency.
- Promote the Experience: Contribute to marketing and advertising efforts for Churchills restaurant.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Completion of secondary school.
- 6 months experience in a similar role, such as hosting or bussing, preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to juggle reservations, schedules, and guest needs with ease.
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- A knack for staying calm under pressure and solving problems on the fly.
- Valid Serve Right certificate
- Valid Food Handlers certificate
