Are you starting your culinary journey or looking to build your experience in a professional kitchen?  Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa is looking for a motivated and dependable Cook 3 to join our culinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in a supportive, fast-paced resort environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Cook 3, you will support the kitchen team in daily food preparation and service:

• Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation
• Follow prep lists and support mise en place for service
• Assist senior cooks during à la carte, banquets, and events
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
• Help with receiving, storing, and handling food items properly
• Learn recipes, plating standards, and kitchen procedures
• Support overall kitchen operations as directed by chefs

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen experience is an asset (but not required)
• Culinary training or enrollment in a culinary program is an asset
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Certifications & Requirements

• Safe Food Handling Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• WHMIS (asset)
• First Aid & CPR (asset)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
